To that end, some blog providers have begun to offer blog decorations, like blog stickers, to help people differentiate their blogs. These decorations help to make your blog more personal and unique.

The basic design of your blog is what sets it apart initially. Blog websites will provide a selection of pre-designed blog templates or themes for you to choose from. These templates will have different colors, layouts, and fonts. Generally, these different blog designs will be free, though some special designs may be available for purchase.
Blog Stickers
Blog Stickers are simple decorations you can customize and put on your blog. They can contain any message you want, in many different text styles and colors. They are very easy to make, and they allow you to make your blog more customized and personal. If you're not handy with imaging software, blog stickers are a great way to express certain self-contained messages that you would like to express clearly or prominently on your own blog page.

Sites like LiveJournal have many decorations available -- some for free and some for purchase. These include decorations such as animated characters that are meant to display the blogger’s mood, guest books where people who read the blog can leave comments, and profile pictures you can upload.
Blogger has many different page elements that you can add to enhance the look of your blog, including “gadgets” which can do things like add a slideshow of pictures to your blog, add animated fish to your blog’s front page, link your blog to YouTube, and more.
Some of these decorations are useful in addition to being nice to look at. Some add-ons allow readers to easily "tweet" about your posts on Twitter, or “like” them on Facebook. Certain add-ons even allow you to have music on your blog!
Blog decorations allow you to express yourself and make your blog more personal. Decorating your blog is just another way of expressing yourself and sharing your thoughts and feelings with the world.
